New section added (September 2020) - VLF/SID monitoring

Using a UKRAA Very Low Frequency Reciever System connected to an RPi with an ABelectronics UK ADC Pi HAT running homebrew Python3 scripts

This detects Very Low Frequency (VLF) transmissions at 23.4kHz, from Ramsloh GERMANY, to monitor Sudden Ionospheric Disturbances (SID) caused by solar flares from our Sun

This has been an engaging project, during the "Lockdown" period. Comprising of building the UKRAA VLF Aerial kit, VLF Reciever Kit, tuning the aerial for Call Sign DHO38 - the German Navy transmitter. Configuring the ADC Pi hat and subsequently writing some Python3 code to record the signal output from the UKRAA VLF reciever, scrape NOAA GOES-16 X-ray Flux data and sunrise and sunset data from the WWW and then plotting the results with gnuplot 5.2.

Another new section added (February 2021) - AllSky camera

This has been another engaging project, during the second "Lockdown" period. Comprising of building an allsky camera set up - based on allskyoptics hardware and allsky software from GitHub.
